Back to Millie's Tile Warehouse
The Warehouse

Welcome! I put this site together to share, neatly in one place, the original tiling patterns I design as a hobby. They are all suitable and free for any personal non-profit use, including desktop wallpaper, web page backgrounds, and fabric prints. (See Usage below.)

Aside from the most recently posted tiles listed on the front page, tiles can be browsed by tag or by the month they were posted in by clicking the archive links in the left sidebar, or the tags below each tile.

With some browsers and operating systems, you can set a tile (on the front page or on individual tile pages) as a desktop background by right-clicking on the tile and clicking the appropriate menu item. In Internet Explorer in Windows, right-click and click "Set as Background."

Gothbench

Tiles tagged "gothbench" are my favorites from a series of desktop tile collections I designed over the mid to late nineties. New tiles with a darker look get the "gothbench5" tag instead.

The name "Gothbench" comes from the desktop software for the Amiga computer, Workbench, for which the original "Gothbench" background tile collection was designed.

Usage

The tiles may be used free of charge for any personal non-profit use. I retain any and all rights of ownership in all jurisdictions.

If you wish to use tiles in other ways, or are interested in purchasing partial or full rights to high-resolution versions of tiles, please contact me at the email address at the bottom of the page. Thank you!
